Our Opinion
This kibbutz resort hotel has something for everyone young and old.
Location
A kibbutz environment situated inside the magical Botanical Gardens, on a cliff plateau, overlooking the Dead Sea. It is a true oasis within the Judean Desert.
Accommodation
121 rooms with air conditioning, TV, radio, telephone, coffee and tea making facilities, toilet and shower.
There are different types of rooms:
The Desert Room: Standard room that has been redecorated by local artists and inspired by the landscape of the Judean Desert.
The Romantic Room: This room creates a luxurious, pampering, romantic atmosphere guaranteed to allow you the ultimate in romantic experiences.
The Botanical Garden Room: Standard rooms surrounded by flourishing lawns, each one with a small patio.
The Arugot Room: Spacious deluxe rooms designed in a rustic desert style, and each with its own veranda.
Country Lodging Room: Basic rustic style self-catering holiday rooms. Each room has a kitchenette
Facilities
An outdoor swimming pool (in season) right on the edge of the plateau overlooking the Dead Sea. A half Olympic size indoors swimming pool (in season) completely covered by glass panels. Sports centre offering guests a wide range of facilities including a gym, tennis courts, and a modern sports hall.
The Ein Gedi Spa is a unique and soothing natural phenomenon.. The Spa besides its usual treatments has a bathing beach and picnic area (any treatments and entrance fees to be paid locally)
Ein Gedi Spa restaurant: for an excellent home cooked meal.
